so did he?
by teej (copyrighted by teej)

So, was it an attack?
Your body’s bashed
Your spirit’s splintered
But was it an attack?

They say he grabbed you …
beat you ‘til your heart wailed
spewing poison to your brain
But was it an attack?

She was sitting next to you / she heard nothing …
no change in your breath
no plea for help
no moan

He was sitting next to you / he saw nothing …
no intruder
no flying fists
no blood
So I ask again, was it an attack?
I see you …
lying motionless
breathing heavily
mouth hanging open

Did he attack you?
Only your eyes know the truth
but they are too tired to speak
too afraid to repeat the story
watching / half-showing the truth
So did he attack you?
Or did you participate?

When he grabbed you with his cold / hard hands did you fight

Or did you lie there while he penetrated your soul

So tell me, as I watch you dying
When death touched you was it
cold / hard / violent
or was it
orgasmic
?
